Taking to the stage of the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Missouri, The Phil Collins Story unfolds on the evening of March 24, 2026. This docu-concert is part of a wide-reaching North American tour launching in February 2026. A large-scale stage experience that honors Phil Collins’ journey from Genesis drummer to global solo icon. The Phil Collins Story focuses on Collins’ chart-topping catalog. From his early Genesis years to his solo career, the performance includes his award-winning Disney work. Classic tracks like “Against All Odds,” “Another Day in Paradise,” and “Invisible Touch,” giving fans the special chance to relive these songs live in a narrative concert setting. Highlighting Collins’ Grammy‑winning era and his Academy Award for a Disney soundtrack, the production brings in his recognition with Genesis and their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Onstage, vocals are led by performers such as vocal lead Max Cadman, who has featured at select performances, and supported by music director Sachio Nang and a touring band built specifically for this production. The creative team from Paquin Exhibitions & Theatrical and Maple Tree Entertainment combines documentary storytelling with video projections and concert staging to keep the focus on Collins’ songs, the visuals, and career milestones. Recent tour news confirms an expanded North American schedule, where Kansas City, Missouri, was added as a new stop following strong fan demand, underlining his musical skill commanding cross‑generational attention.

The Uptown Theater is located at its Broadway address in Kansas City, Missouri. The theater first opened its doors to the public in 1926 and has undergone several bouts of upgrades and refurbishments over the years until today it stands proudly as the go-to venue for performances. The venue’s main auditorium accommodates about 1,700 guests spread across the lower-level orchestra and the upper-level balcony levels, with configurations that adapt for fully reserved concert seating or limited standing areas near the stage. The Uptown Theater, well suited for a production, is built around intricate projections and a detailed sound and audio design.
