We ALWAYS make sure to bring you the best concerts and shows here at Uptown Theatre - and yeah the year is closing out, but that doesn’t mean it has to be The End (well, unless you’re talking about the tour name). ‘Cause on Tuesday, December 2nd, we’re getting ready to ROAR like they did way back in the prehistoric days with the modern rock men who are gonna help us get through the third Ice Age. That’s right peeps — Mammoth is rolling into town right as the holidays heat up, and if there’s one thing we’ve learned these past few years, it’s that Wolfgang Van Halen refuses to let the crew fade into “remember when” nostalgia - and honestly, thank GOD for that. Mammoth is pulling up for a night that’s gonna hit harder than all the bands we’ve seen here this year, NOW showing us what we can expect with Wolfgang entering this next era louder and more ambitious than ever, Kansas City - y’all ready to see why the 2010s never really died when 2020 happened?! Are you ready for the best show of the year?! Yes?? Yay! 

If you’re new to Mammoth - or only know of Wolfgang from the last name he inherited - oh honey… listen up because we don’t have much time to waste. Created by Wolfgang Van Halen (right?! WHAT a name) he started the project in the late 2010s because he wanted to carve his own corner in the history books of rock and roll — not just to recreate Van Halen and get all the Second Coming instigations. And in just a few years? He’s done it all: a Grammy-nominated song, chart-topping rock singles, a slew of critically acclaimed trilogy of albums (Mammoth WVH, Mammoth II, and 2025’s massive The End), sold-out tours, and a band of absolute killers behind him onstage to bring every riff to life for you me and we. He’s survived it all - the pressure of making a legacy, and building a ride-or-die fanbase for Mammoth — not “Eddie’s kid,” not “the Van Halen guy,” but Wolfgang freakin’ Van Halen: multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, frontman, and one of the hardest-working musicians in rock today. Mammoth is showing us what rock and roll can look like in the new age - inspiring all the young rockers in the crowd, and being the bridge between the then and the now. Super real - it’s all happening right here at Uptown on Tuesday the 2nd, and THAT’S why we need you here for it all boys and girls.
